With a list of 4-3, the Chiefs go with losses against the Colts and Texans, both of which came at home. The offense looked better against the Texans, after failing to generate much offense on Sunday night against the Colts. However, we are apt to expect over 24 points out of the Chiefs at the controls using Mahomes.
While Mahomes claims his arm is bothersome, it impacting his ability. It is apparently quite a sprained ankle for Mahomes, as he proceeds to play through the pain. Mahomes does not necessarily require an offensive line to place up amounts when he is completely healthy. He still has the capacity of rolling out into left or the right along with right finding an open receiver. That kind of skill to steer clear of rushers and extend the play puts a huge amount of tension. However, with a bad foot, Mahomes hasnt been able to do that much. Sanders left using a knee injury against the Titans in the second-half. He returned and it may be a major problem for the Broncos on a week. The Broncos dont have enough weapons at their disposal. It doesnt seem to be a problem, but its likely to either keep from performing anything close hold back him. Im not so certain that the Broncos have the secure, although the Chiefs have a beatable protection.
The Broncos are 25th in the NFL with an average of 336.2 yards gathered per game. Flacco was serving as only a match director for the Broncos. He is far past a stage where he can be a match changer under center. Flacco has passed 6 touchdowns and 5 interceptions for a pedestrian QB evaluation of 87.4. Oddly, the Chiefs have been 3rd in the league with 422 yards per match even though they have dealt with injuries throughout the year.
Anticipate Mahomes to eliminate the ball quickly. Theres a whole lot of pace underneath to still create significant plays from rapid routes. If Andy Reid chooses to put Mahomes in a dangerous place, the Broncos will have an introduction to success Thursday night. When Hill was still absent I believe, I would be worried about that the Chiefs here. He s back and was flying in only his first action in 2019.
This could have looked like a snare place for the Chiefs, but they are 0-2 in their past two games and cant afford to spend away. This might have been a spot they get lazy on the street, if KC just demolished the Colts and Texans. They will be ready and focused to compete in Denver. It should be a fantastic game, using the Chiefs pulling away to get a 7 or 6-point triumph in Mile High.
