(CNN) — Manchester United states it is »working to identify » those responsible for the racist abuse aimed toward midfielder Paul Pogba on interpersonal media after Monday’s 1-1 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
After Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio saved his second half penalty kick throughout the Premier League match pogba was targeted.
He is the next player, after Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham and Reading’s Yakou Meite, to be racially abused on websites in the week.
In a statement, United stated that those accountable for the misuse »do not reflect the values of our club. »
« Everybody at Manchester United is mesmerized by the racial abuse directed at Paul Pogba last night and we utterly condemn it, » the club said in a statement.
« The individuals who expressed such views do not reflect the values of the great club and it’s encouraging to observe that the vast majority of our fans condemn this on social websites too.
« Manchester United has no tolerance of any form of racism or discrimination along with a longstanding commitment to campaigning from it during our #AllRedAllEqual initiative.
« We will work to identify the few involved in these incidents and take the strongest path of actions available to us. We also encourage social networking companies to take action in such instances. »

Pogba’s United teammate Harry Maguire published a tweet forecasting the abuse »disgusting.
« Disgusting. Social media will need to do some thing about it… Each account that is opened should be confirmed by means of a passport/driving licence. Cease these pitiful trolls making accounts to mistreat people @Twitter @Instagram. »
United striker Marcus Rashford tweeted: »Enough now, that has to stop @Twitter. Manchester United is a family. @paulpogba is a part of the family. You attack him you attack us all… @ManUtd.

Kick it away, a UK-based anti-racism charity, » said that the abuse was »unwarranted » and »vile. »
« The latest round of fittings have seen unwarranted and vile racist abuse delivered to players, » Kick it Out mentioned in a statement.
« This time Reading’s Yakou Meite and Manchester United’s Paul Pogba. Articles like these because the beginning of the season’s number highlights the way abuse online is out of control.

According to its own records, Kick it Out states last year increased, with 274 episodes in contrast to 192 the preceding term.
In a statement delivered to CNN, Twitter stated it suggested the »unacceptable behavior » of those responsible for its racist abuse and that the social networking company had permanently suspended a string of accounts for breaking up its own behavior coverage.
Greater Manchester Police said that it was liaising with United to provide support to the team and Pogba.
