Former Tipperary goalkeeper Darren Gleeson was named as the newest Antrim hurling manager.
The Portroe club man won two All-Ireland titles during his acting career using the Premier County, beginning between the posts in 2016.
Throughout the 2019 season, he combined the Antrim hurling set-up in a coaching capacity.
« Darren Gleeson has likely brought a professional approach to our set-up, » Saffrons celebrity Neil McManus told Sky Sports at the onset of the summer.
« We are better prepared than we have been previously, and he has brought his secrets out of being a former All-Ireland winner Tipperary in our changing area, and that can only be an advantage to us. »
Gleeson will be expecting to direct the Ulster county in 2020 to Joe McDonagh Cup success.
Outgoing manager Neal Pedan will become the first Director of Hurling of the county.
Meanwhile, the soccer boss Lenny Harbison of the Saffron County has been ratified for the entire season ahead.
