Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino insists he hopes to remain in northern London for five more years and will not walk away from the club.
Pochettino is under growing pressure after the 7-2 defeat to Bayern Munich of Tuesday left the club battling to qualify for the previous 16 of the Champions League.
Although an inconsistent start to the campaign has left them sixth in the Premier League, tottenham were knocked from their Carabao Cup by Colchester United last month.
Pochettino insists that he remains completely committed to the team despite their current struggles.
Its a moment to remain all together, he said. I take the remarks. When you dont triumph at Tottenham, this occurs at every club on the planet.
Its normal that the match has produced a great deal of view and rumours, everyone should talk.
But in the end, the only thing that happened is that we missed a match. I dont have any doubt were likely to stay together and find a solution to succeed again, undoubtedly.
Pochettino included:Back in five-and-a-half decades, each and every press conference weve talked about my future.
I hope [because] were still discussing, it usually means I am likely to spend five years here, at least.
