When Cleveland cornerback his legs cut on out while Beckham was with the New York Giants the Pro Bowl receiver endured a severe ankle sprain at a 2017 preseason game.
He explained: »it is a known rule, in preseason nobody in the NFL is really out to do things like this.
« Cleveland players told me that’s what he had been telling them to do, take me out of this match. So you understand that he is. That’s the person calling the plays »
He predicted more of the same in Williams, Cleveland’s interim coach this past year and now Jets defensive co-ordinator when asked exactly what defence he would face after the Browns go to the New York Jets on Monday.
Beckham Jr added: »I’ve just got to look out for the cheap shots, the dirty strikes and all the things that he likes to teach. Besides that, I hope the same. »
